While prefabricated and constructed container houses (PCH) are two types of mobile homes, they differ in several aspects. First, in terms of production cycle, PCH uses welded connections for the columns and roof beams, taking longer to manufacture than PCH, which uses screws for fastening. Second, regarding waterproofing, PCH, with its hot-dip galvanized steel frame and built-in drainage system, offers superior waterproofing; while PCH, although improved, still falls slightly short in this regard. Third, in terms of stability, the frame and beam-column combination of PCH makes it more stable and provides excellent wind and earthquake resistance; although PCH has improved in various aspects, it still lags behind PCH in this area. Finally, from an application perspective, PCH is advantageous for quick installation and disassembly and low transportation costs, making it suitable for construction sites and other locations requiring frequent relocation; while PCH combines the advantages of both PCH and shipping containers, making long-distance transport more convenient, and offering higher strength and durability, but at a relatively higher price. Therefore, when making a selection, it is necessary to comprehensively consider various factors based on actual needs.
